About Bia
We’re Lana and Dan, a husband-and-wife duo who founded BIA out of a shared love for high-impact sports and a frustration with activewear that just couldn’t keep up.
Lana’s a competitive athlete who trains 5–6 days a week, tackling Hyrox, CrossFit, and triathlons with relentless drive. But no matter how hard she pushed, her gear didn’t match her effort. Sports bras slipped mid-workout, shorts rode up during box jumps, and even the priciest pieces fell apart after a few washes. It wasn’t just annoying—it was holding her back. Dan, always up for a challenge and determined to support Lana, saw an opportunity to create something better, not just for her but for every athlete facing the same struggles.
That’s where Bia was born. We set out to craft high-quality, stylish, comfortable activewear designed for athletes who train regularly and compete in high-impact sports. Every piece is built to perform: sweat-wicking nylon that keeps you cool, double-stitched seams that last, thicker glute fabric for coverage, no unflattering seams down the front of shorts or leggings, and stronger cuffs to keep shorts in place through burpees or heavy lifts. But we go beyond fixing problems—we’re obsessed with making your life as an athlete better with gear that transitions seamlessly from gym to trail and looks good doing it.
We’re not a giant brand. We’re athletes who got fed up with settling. We talked to training partners and athlete friends to understand what drives you crazy—slip-outs on runs, unflattering seams, fabrics that don’t breathe—and we design every piece to solve those problems. Got an idea or frustration? Email us at Feedback@BIA-Activewear.com. We’re always listening, because BIA is built on a foundation of constant improvement for athletes like you.
Our mission is simple: create durable, functional, stylish activewear priced so you can train as often as you want without hesitation. Shorts that stay put. Bras that support every movement. Gear that’s as ready for your next PR as you are.
If you’re tired of gear that doesn’t get it, welcome to BIA. Train without distractions.
